COOL Creative, in partnership with JHJ Marketing, served as the agency responsible for creating high-profile multicultural marketing brand activations for the GFL CVB. COOL Creative managed and designed the brand activation initiative for the Urban League’s National Convention in Fort Lauderdale. The convention drew over 10,000 attendees; including celebrities, national political figures and corporate heavy weights.
From streaming video to interactive photo walls, and branded event materials—COOL Creative designed and executed immersive spaces throughout the event to capture the imagination of out-of-town attendees and encouraged them to connect with the CVB’s digital channels at every turn. The results were staggering! Social media engagement rates increased to over 400%, impressions were in the millions and HELLO SUNNY! was engraved in the hearts and minds of guests.
During her tenure at Starmark, Johanne Wilson was responsible for the art direction of the award-winning campaign for the GFL CVB; HELLO SUNNY! She designed the famed HELLO SUNNY brand mark, co art-directed the general market photo and video shoot, interactive digital kiosks, designed the marketing materials, and several ad campaigns. She also served with the team to create the highly-disruptive “defrost your swimsuit” ice blocks campaign, the highlight of the CVB’s brand global activation efforts.
